A heat exchanger is a device that transfers heat between two or more fluids without allowing them to mix. At Thermal Transfer Products, we offer air-cooled, water-cooled, and brazed plate models designed for optimal thermal efficiency in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems.

Selection depends on several factors: fluid type, temperature, flow rate, pressure drop limits, cooling capacity required (BTU/hr or HP), and space constraints. Our online Sizing Tool and engineering support team can help you choose the right configuration.

Our heat exchangers are deployed across industrial manufacturing, mobile equipment, energy production, agricultural machinery, marine systems, and heavy-duty hydraulics—anywhere fluid cooling is critical.

Yes. You can access 3D CAD models and technical datasheets directly from our Product Configurator for most product lines. Formats include STEP, IGES, and PDF.

Most of our industrial products are rated for:

  • Max pressure: Up to 300 PSI (model dependent)
  • Max temperature: 400°F for brazed plate models; 300°F for air-cooled steel/aluminum units

Please refer to individual datasheets for exact ratings.

Yes. Our heat exchangers are designed and tested to meet ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and comply with common hydraulic, marine, and mobile system certifications. Some models also meet CE or ASME requirements.

Absolutely. Our Custom Engineered Products team can design bespoke solutions tailored to your thermal and physical constraints. We specialize in low-volume, high-spec designs.

We recommend:

  • Regular inspection for debris or fouling
  • Cleaning fins (air-cooled) or flushing (liquid units) as needed
  • Monitoring for pressure drop changes
  • Checking seals and fittings
  • Maintenance frequency varies by application severity and environment.

Most standard units ship within 2–5 business days. For engineering assistance, contact our support team via Contact Page, and we typically respond within 1 business day.

All Thermal Transfer Products are engineered and manufactured in the United States, with facilities located in Wisconsin and supported by a nationwide distribution network.
