The Thermal Transfer Products Mobile M Series is a heavy-duty, copper-tube/aluminum-fin cooler core built for mobile and off-highway equipment — one of the most rugged and robust heat exchangers in the TTP family. As a core without its own fan, it’s designed to face-mount to a radiator or integrate within an engine cooling module, using existing engine airflow to cool the fluid. That makes it a compact, cost-effective way to add oil, fuel, or transmission cooling to a mobile machine.
The design delivers high flow capacity and high heat removal, and its high/low turbulators optimize heat rejection even at lower flow rates. An optional internal pressure bypass protects the hydraulic system during cold starts and pressure spikes, and because it’s internal, it reduces plumbing complexity by eliminating external piping. Rugged off-highway steel-fin and steel-manifold configurations are available for high-vibration, dusty, or corrosive environments.
Common applications include hydraulic oil, fuel, and transmission cooling in mobile systems. The M Series carries a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 350°F, with oil flows up to roughly 150 GPM and heat removal to about 175,000 BTU/hr across the model range. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program and 3D configurator help select and build the right core for your system.
The Thermal Transfer Products Mobile DF Series is a rugged air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler engineered for very demanding mobile and off-highway applications. Its robust design features steel tanks and damage-resistant steel fins — rather than the more delicate aluminum fins used on lighter-duty coolers — so it withstands impact, flying debris, vibration, and rough handling in the field while delivering moderate flow rates and high heat removal.
The DF is driven by 12- or 24-volt DC fans or a long-life hydraulic fan motor, letting you match the drive to the power available on the machine. An optional serviceable internal pressure bypass provides cold-start protection and can be removed for service without disturbing the plumbing. It’s well suited to construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, and material-handling equipment that runs in dirty, high-vibration conditions.
The series has a maximum operating pressure of 300 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 350°F. It shares its performance profile with the DH Series, but where the DH is a lighter radiator-face-mount and low-flow solution, the DF adds its own DC or hydraulic fan drive and heavier steel construction. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps size the right model for your flow, heat load, and mounting.
The Thermal Transfer Products Mobile MF Series is a self-contained, air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler for mobile equipment — the rugged M Series core with an integral fan drive added, so it doesn’t depend on radiator or engine airflow. You can specify a low-amp-draw DC motor or a long-life hydraulic fan motor to match the power available on the machine.
Its robust, off-highway-grade construction uses a steel manifold, copper tubes, and aluminum fins, and high/low turbulators optimize heat rejection even at lower flow rates. An optional serviceable internal pressure bypass provides cold-start protection and can be removed for service without disturbing the plumbing. The MF is well suited to higher-pressure mobile hydraulic applications where a dedicated fan is needed rather than relying on engine airflow.
Common applications include hydraulic oil, fuel, and transmission cooling on construction, agriculture, forestry, and material-handling equipment. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps size the right MF model for your flow, heat load, and available power.
The Thermal Transfer Products Industrial AOVH Series is a high-performance air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler built with a copper-tube, aluminum-fin core. As the high-capacity version of TTP’s AO Series, it delivers high heat rejection and low pressure drop for high-flow applications, using a double-core, AC-fan-driven design in a compact footprint. Its High-Low Turbulator design is what yields high flow capacity with low flow pressure, making it well suited to demanding, continuous-duty cooling.
The AOVH cools hydraulic oil (and fluids such as glycols) with ambient air, and is widely used on hydraulic power units, injection molding machines, gear drives and gearboxes, machine tools, torque converters, and marine equipment. A high-performance fan and adjustable cabinet louvers let you regulate the direction of heated exhaust air, and the versatile design supports one- or two-pass flow. Two-pass units (the AOVHR configuration) route oil through the core twice for greater heat rejection and add an integral relief bypass valve that protects against high backpressure during cold starts, high-viscosity operation, or pressure spikes.
Maximum operating pressure is 300 PSI with a maximum operating temperature of 400°F. Fan motors are built for fan duty and rated for ambient temperatures up to 104°F, with single- and three-phase options and explosion-proof motors available for hazardous locations. To simplify system integration, the AOVH Series is fully supported with 3D CAD models, downloadable datasheets, and technical documentation, and TTP’s XSelector® sizing program helps optimize model selection.

The Thermal Transfer Products AOHM and AOVHM Series are mobile air-cooled hydraulic oil coolers built with a copper-tube, aluminum-fin core and driven by a long-life hydraulic motor — ideal for off-highway and mobile equipment where electric fan power isn’t practical. The AOHM is the hydraulic-motor version of TTP’s AO Series, and the AOVHM is the hydraulic-motor version of the higher-performance AOVH Series, together covering a wide flow range and high heat removal up to 210,000 BTU/hr.
Their heavy-duty construction is designed for remote mounting away from the engine’s heat, which provides more efficient cooling than mounting near the radiator and avoids blocking main engine airflow. Both models can be configured for one- or two-pass flow — supporting either low-flow/high-heat-rejection or high-flow/high-rejection applications — and can be set up with an internal pressure bypass for cold-start protection. High/low turbulators optimize heat rejection at lower flow rates, and a high-performance fan with adjustable louvers lets you direct heated exhaust air where you want it.
Maximum operating pressure is 300 PSI on the oil side with a maximum operating temperature of 400°F, and NPT connections are standard. (Note the hydraulic motor itself carries a separate 2,000 PSI maximum with 1,000 PSI allowable back pressure — keep case-drain pressure drop to 5 PSI or less to protect pump shaft seals.) TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps size the right model for your flow, heat load, and space.
The Thermal Transfer Products MA Series is a rugged, high-performance air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler built for demanding mobile equipment cooling applications. It uses TTP’s proven brazed aluminum plate-and-bar core, engineered with an aggressive turbulator that produces ultra-high heat transfer in a compact, vibration-tolerant package suited to off-highway and mobile machinery.
You can select from a broad line of standard units as a core only — for integration into an existing cooling package — or as a complete fan pack. Fan-optioned units come with 12- or 24-volt DC or brushless DC axial fans. The brushless motor option delivers extended service life, a minimal electrical load at over 82% efficiency, custom fan-speed control, and lower ambient noise — important where battery draw and cab noise matter.
For temperature control, add the MAGHEX programmable fan controller and sensor: an easy-to-install, low-cost alternative to complex control systems that cycles the fan to hold target oil temperature. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps optimize model selection for your flow rate, heat load, and available space.
The Thermal Transfer Products OCA Series is a high-performance, forced-air oil cooler engineered for high heat rejection, high-viscosity fluids, and rough operating environments. It’s built around TTP’s patented T-BAR™ solid extruded-tube core — where other TTP lines offer T-BAR™ as an option, the OCA is designed around it, giving the series exceptional durability under high shock loads and high pressure spikes while reducing pressure drop with thick, viscous oils.
Its rugged steel construction is more efficient and lighter in weight than competitor models, and the series is available in a wide range of sizes for both mobile and industrial applications. Because it cools with ambient air, the OCA provides ample cooling in locations where cooling water is costly, restricted, or simply unavailable — avoiding water and sewer costs and the corrosion and scaling of water-cooled systems.
The OCA is designed for integration into hydraulic power units and mobile machinery cooling circuits where air-cooling is preferred, with a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 350°F. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps select the right model for your flow, heat load, and fluid viscosity.
The Thermal Transfer Products BOL/BOLR Series is an industrial air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler built on a brazed aluminum bar-and-plate core. It delivers outstanding heat dissipation for extreme heat loads in a rugged, lightweight, and compact package, making it well suited to hydraulic power units, hydraulic presses and industrial machinery, and gearbox and lube-oil cooling circuits where high thermal loads run continuously.
Every unit uses TTP’s proven brazed aluminum core engineered with an aggressive turbulator that produces ultra-high heat transfer per envelope size. Coolers are available with AC or hydraulic fan motors, and TTP’s exclusive T-BAR™ extruded-tube cores are offered for high-viscosity oils and highly fouling fluids to reduce pressure drop.
Two internal bypass options — pressure bypass or temperature/pressure bypass — protect the core and improve cold-start performance. Because the bypass is internal, it eliminates extra external piping, which lowers installed cost and helps the cooler come out of bypass faster on cold starts. A low-noise option runs the motor at reduced speed for sound-sensitive installations.
The series covers a heat-rejection range from 5 HP (4 kW) to 630 HP (465 kW), with a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI and maximum operating temperature of 350°F. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as an Apple and Android app — helps optimize cooler selection for performance and value.
The Thermal Transfer Products AOL Series is an industrial air-cooled oil cooler built on a rugged brazed aluminum bar-and-plate core, engineered for outstanding heat dissipation under extreme heat loads in a lightweight, compact package. It uses forced ambient air to cool compressor lube oil, rotary screw compressor oil, and gearbox oils — and it’s an excellent choice for converting medium-to-large water-cooled compressors to air-cooled cooling, eliminating water and sewer costs.
The AOL is designed for vertical airflow, discharging warm air up and away rather than blowing it at operators or nearby equipment — a real advantage in occupied plant spaces and heat-recovery setups. It’s available with AC or hydraulic fan motors, and every unit uses an aggressive turbulator that produces ultra-high heat transfer per envelope size.
The series includes nine models with oil-flow capacities from 15 to 120 GPM (57–454 LPM), sized for compressors from 35 to 400 HP (26.1–298.3 kW), with a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI and maximum operating temperature of 300°F. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps optimize model selection for performance and value.
