This Foot Mounting Bracket is an optional accessory for Thermal Transfer Products BPSW and BPW Series brazed plate heat exchangers, providing a simple, secure way to floor- or surface-mount the unit. Constructed of carbon steel, it bolts to the exchanger and gives a stable mounting base for installation into a hydraulic power unit or process cooling skid.
The bracket is compatible with all BPSW and BPW brazed plate models except the 8×3 plate size. For the exchangers themselves, see the standard BPSW Series and the made-to-order BPW Series.
The Thermal Transfer Products dual-output temperature sensor is an electronic temperature switch that provides two independent switching outputs from a single unit, over a wide measuring range of -13 to 284 °F (-25 to 140 °C). It generates one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) signal, each with a separately adjustable switch point — so a single sensor can trigger two actions at two different temperatures, such as starting a cooling fan at one setpoint and an alarm or second stage at another.
The sensor has a ¼″ NPT process connection for direct installation in a cooler port or fluid line. Sensor port adapters are available to fit a range of ports, and optional bulb wells (thermowells) allow the sensing element to be immersed in the fluid while isolated from it — protecting the sensor and allowing removal or replacement without draining the system.
Its two-setpoint flexibility makes it well suited to multi-stage fan control, staged cooling, or combined control-plus-alarm functions on TTP coolers and cooling packages. TTP Application Engineering can help configure the setpoints and adapters for your application.
The immersion thermostat is a simple, low-cost temperature sensor for measuring temperature on a primary heating-pipe circuit. It’s particularly suited to controlling automatic adjustment (variable-speed) pumps, switching or modulating pump operation based on circuit temperature to maintain efficient, stable system performance.
The thermostat measures temperature with a liquid-filled sensing element — a proven, reliable sensing method that needs no external power — and comes complete with a waterproof protection pocket (thermowell) that lets the sensor be immersed directly in the pipe while staying isolated from the fluid for easy service and replacement. Its simple set-up makes it a practical, economical choice for pump and heating-circuit temperature monitoring.
The sensor is ideal for heating and hydronic pipe circuits and for pairing with automatic pumps in cooling and process systems. TTP Application Engineering can help select the correct temperature range and pocket length for your pipe and application.
The Thermal Transfer Products Single Set Point Switch is a temperature-actuated electrical switch used to control a cooling fan, alarm, or other device based on fluid temperature. Its super-sensitive probe senses the oil or coolant temperature and, on temperature rise, closes its electrical contacts at a preset set point — switching the fan on for cooling and off again as the fluid cools, without any separate controller.
The sensor is normally open and closes on temperature rise. It’s housed in a rugged 303 stainless steel body rated for operating pressures up to 1,000 PSI, so it can thread directly into a pressurized cooler port or hydraulic line. Contacts are rated 6 amps at 120 VAC and 4 amps at 240 VAC, suitable for switching a fan motor relay or contactor.
The Single Set Point Switch pairs naturally with TTP’s AC-fan-driven coolers (such as the AO, AOC, AOF, and AOVH Series) to provide simple, automatic on/off fan control. TTP Application Engineering can help select the correct set-point temperature for your system.
The Electronic Temperature Control & Bulb Well Assembly (AC) provides accurate, adjustable temperature control for cooling (or heating) systems, pairing electronic precision with remote-sensing capability. It’s used to switch a fan, pump, or other device based on fluid temperature — for example, cycling a cooler’s AC fan to hold a target oil temperature.
The control operates in either heating or cooling mode with an adjustable differential, so you can tune both the set point and the on/off spread to your application. Its interchangeable temperature sensor mounts remotely (via the included bulb well) to read fluid temperature away from the control itself, and the line-voltage, single-stage design provides a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) relay output with LED status indication for straightforward integration.
Housed in a NEMA 1 high-impact plastic enclosure, it mounts on a surface or DIN rail for flexible panel or field installation. It’s well suited to controlling AC-fan-driven TTP coolers (AO, AOC, AOF, AOVH) where adjustable, more precise temperature control is needed than a fixed single-set-point switch provides. TTP Application Engineering can help configure it for your system.
The Thermal Transfer Products Thermal Bypass Valve is a return-line temperature-control valve for hydraulic and hydrostatic drive circuits that require fast warm-up, controlled fluid temperature, and low return-line back pressure. Installed in the return line of a hydraulic circuit that uses an oil cooler, it automatically modulates fluid temperature by shifting return-line flow through the cooler once the oil is warm, or bypassing it directly to the reservoir during cold start-up.
When the oil is cold (below about 110°F / 43°C), the valve directs flow around the cooler with minimum pressure loss, letting the oil reach operating temperature faster and preventing overcooling. Once the oil warms past the set point, the thermal element closes the bypass and sends full flow through the cooler. A built-in pressure relief function (set at 60 PSI) automatically relieves excess pressure to the reservoir if the cooler becomes restricted or the pressure drop climbs too high — protecting the cooler from cold-oil surges and blockage.
The valve activates at a nominal 110°F (43°C) and integrates directly with TTP’s MA, MAR, and BOLR Series hydraulic oil coolers to form a complete, temperature-controlled cooling system. By holding oil at its optimal temperature and eliminating cold-start stress, it reduces energy loss, minimizes component wear, and extends system life. TTP Application Engineering can help select the right valve for your flow rate, oil viscosity, and temperature-control needs.
Our heavy duty thermostatic valves operate in a wide range of temperatures and in any position. Valves are compact, self-contained and tamper-proof. Acceptable for oil or water service and available with ½”, ¾”, 1″, 1½” & 2″ NPT Ports.
The Thermal Transfer Products SSC Series is an all-316 stainless steel shell and tube heat exchanger for oil-to-water and water-to-water cooling in demanding environments. Every wetted component — tubes, tubesheets, shell, shell connections, baffles, and end bonnets — is 316/316L stainless steel, making the SSC the right choice where corrosive process fluids, saltwater, or poor-quality cooling water would quickly degrade a standard steel or brass cooler.
It uses the same proven fixed-tubesheet design as TTP’s HC Series, so it keeps the cost-effectiveness of a highly standardized product while still supporting a wide range of options for specific applications. Custom, application-specific units are also available, and the fixed-tubesheet design is a drop-in replacement for BASCO Series “500S” stainless steel units.
Maximum operating pressure is 300 PSI on the shell side and 150 PSI on the tube side, with a maximum operating temperature of 300°F. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps select the right model for your flow, heat load, and cooling-water conditions.
