The Thermal Transfer Products Industrial AOC Series is a low-cost air-cooled hydraulic oil cooler built with a copper-tube, aluminum-fin core and an AC fan drive. It’s designed for basic hydraulic power unit applications and lower flow rates, cooling hydraulic oil with ambient air where an economical, industrial-duty cooler is the priority.
The AOC Series is available with or without an internal bypass, and its dual-rated 50/60 Hz electric motor (single- or three-phase) allows for application flexibility worldwide. A standard removable air filter prevents air-side core blockage from dust and debris, and aggressive turbulators deliver optimal heat rejection at lower flow rates. Connections are available in NPT or BSPP, and the serviceable bypass valve is built into the tubes without affecting external dimensions (the smallest AOC-08 model is the exception).
The series covers oil flows up to 150 GPM, with a maximum operating pressure of 300 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 350°F. To support system design, the AOC Series is backed by downloadable 3D CAD models, technical documentation, and application engineering support to simplify OEM integration. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps optimize model selection.
