The Thermal Transfer Products DH Series is a low-cost, high-performance mobile cooler core built for radiator face-mount fuel and transmission cooling, as well as hydraulic oil cooling. Because it’s a core (no integral fan), it mounts against the vehicle’s radiator or another airflow source and relies on that existing airflow — an economical, space-saving way to add auxiliary cooling to mobile equipment.
The design delivers moderate flow rates and high heat removal, with aggressive turbulators that optimize heat rejection even at lower flow rates. An optional internal pressure bypass provides cold-start protection, and material options — including steel tanks and steel fins — are available for rugged off-highway applications where impact and debris resistance matter. Available two-pass (DHR) configurations add flow-path flexibility.
The DH Series is engineered for hydraulic circuits up to 70 HP and oil flows up to 150 GPM in mobile systems, with a maximum operating pressure of 300 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 350°F. TTP’s XSelector® sizing program — available online and as a mobile app — helps size the right core for your flow, heat load, and airflow conditions.

It’s a low-cost, high-performance mobile cooler core from Thermal Transfer Products, designed for radiator face-mount cooling of hydraulic oil, fuel, and transmission fluid on mobile equipment.
The DH is a core without an integral fan. It mounts on the face of the vehicle’s radiator (or another airflow source) and uses that existing airflow to cool the fluid — which keeps cost and complexity down.
Hydraulic oil, fuel, and transmission fluid — making it a versatile auxiliary cooler for mobile systems.
Engineered for hydraulic circuits up to 70 HP and oil flows up to 150 GPM, with a maximum operating pressure of 300 PSI and maximum operating temperature of 350°F.
Yes — material options including steel tanks and steel fins are available for impact- and debris-resistant service in harsh conditions.
The DH is a core-only, radiator face-mount cooler that uses existing airflow — the low-cost, lightweight option. The DF is the heavier-duty version with its own DC or hydraulic fan drive and standard steel construction for the most demanding, independent-cooling applications.
Yes, the DH Series is suitable for diesel-powered hydraulic systems. But it depends on the heat you need to reject. DH is rated for up to ~70 HP heat removal and up to 150 GPM oil flow. If your calculated heat load is ≤ ~70 HP, DH can be a fit; if it exceeds ~70 HP, select a higher-capacity series via XSelector® or contact Application Engineering.
Recommended for cold-start protection and variable-duty mobile systems.
Aluminum or steel fins and tanks for high-vibration or corrosive environments.
Yes, the DH Series is optimized for radiator face mount and auxiliary cooling applications.
